Hilton Worldwide believes that first class service and commitment to excellence must extend beyond the hotel room and into the communities where our team members, customers and guests live and work. Our philanthropic programs reflect this commitment and give us a framework for effective and meaningful charitable giving. In order to prudently fund worthwhile projects, Hilton Worldwide's charitable giving interests are focused on the following four areas:
- Education
- Youth Programs
- Selected healthcare programs
- Civic Affairs and Public Policy
We continue to support and sponsor hundreds of non-profit organizations on an annual basis, including numerous Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers and Big Sisters organizations. Additionally, we play an active role in, but not limited to, the following organizations:
- Children affected by AIDS Foundation
- Teach For America
- Hands On Memphis
- L.A. Works
- Project Angel Food
- Ronald McDonald House
- Junior Achievement
- Hope House
- Habitat For Humanity
- Aids Project L.A.
- Project Restore
- Youth Villages
- Neighborhood Youth Association
Besides adopting partnerships with several inner-city schools, we are also committed to the community by fostering relationships with Mattel's Children's Hospital, Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition, we internally incorporate Doubletree's "Teaching Kids to Care" community outreach program, Hampton Inn's "Save a Landmark Campaign" and Hilton Garden Inn's School Gardening program.
